The film received two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). In addition, she appeared as an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She was also in 2008 as Yasim Anwar on the BBC Five-episode miniseries The Last Enemy.
