
Amanda Louise Holden, born on the 16th of February, 1971, is an English actress and a media personality. Since 2007, she has been an official judge of Britain's Got Talent television talent competition on ITV. She is also the co-host of the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent a lot of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. Holden was also participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. Holden co-starred with Bill Nighy and Tom Courtenay in Ready When You Are, Mr. McGill, a comedy drama by Jack Rosenthal. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She joined the show in the year 2006.
